Abstrak

This research examines the implementation of ethical, sustainable financial management in Catholic education through a systematic review of existing literature. The main focus is identifying the best financial management practices aligning with Catholic values and sustainability principles. The method used was a systematic literature review of scientific articles, textbooks, and policy documents published in the last 10 years related to financial management in Catholic educational institutions. The analysis shows that ethical and sustainable financial management in Catholic educational institutions requires balancing financial objectives and socio-religious missions. Some key elements identified include transparency in financial reporting, equitable resource allocation, sustainable investments considering environmental and social impacts, and decision-making guided by Catholic social teachings. The study also revealed the challenges of reconciling the demands of financial efficiency with a commitment to social justice and service to the underprivileged. This study presents a comprehensive framework for ethical, sustainable financial management in Catholic educational institutions, which can guide stakeholders in developing financial management policies and practices.
