Abstrak

Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) technology have brought fundamental changes to Catholic family interactions and dynamics. Research shows that adopting AI can improve family communication and spirituality but also raises ethical implications and challenges to traditional values. This study explores the impact of AI on family interaction patterns and language, identifying potential enhancements and disruptions to interpersonal relationships. In addition, the application of AI in Catholic religious education offers a more personalized and adaptive learning method but risks reducing the human interaction essential for spiritual growth. The views of Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis emphasize the wise use of technology to enrich family values and protect human dignity. This study aims to bridge the integration of AI by considering its challenges and opportunities for Catholic families in maintaining the legacy of traditional values amidst technological advancements.
